The Boeing AH-64 Apache is a four-blade, twin-engine attack helicopter with a tailwheel-type landing gear arrangement, and a tandem cockpit for a two-man crew. The Apache was developed by Hughes Helicopters for the United States Army's Advanced Attack Helicopter program to replace the AH-1 Cobra, and was first flown in September 1975.

The AH-64 is an attack helicopter of the United States Army and the AH-1 Cobra successor. It was manufactured by the Hughes, McDonnell Douglas, and Boeing IDS. Its maiden flight was on the 30th of September 1975 and it is still active in service. Its primary users are the United States Army, Israel Air Force, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, and Royal Netherlands Air Force. This helicopter was produced in 1984 up to the present time.
